An 11-year-old Mohave County girl is dead after the ATV she was riding crashed on Wednesday.
The Mohave County Sheriff's Office says that it received a call at about 3:30 p.m. from Burro Creek Crossing.
The ATV apparently hit the bank of a shallow ditch, throwing both of its riders. The driver, a 12-year-old girl, suffered a broken arm. The passenger suffered internal injuries and died at the scene.
The relationship between the girls is unknown. They both lived in Kingman, Arizona.
