A young pedestrian was critically injured in a crash late Friday night.
The female minor was crossing Mojave Road, south of Dawnflower Street, outside of a marked crosswalk when she was hit by a Honda Civic around 11:35 p.m.
The pedestrian was transported to Sunrise Trauma. Police did not say how old the girl was.
Police said the 26-year-old male driver of the Honda remained on scene and was not impaired.
