LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Valley of Fire State Park posted on its social media that a Gila monster was rescued from inside Mouse's Tank.
Mouse’s Tank is a natural basin in the rock where water collects after each rainfall.
The basin is 15 feet deep and normally full of water.

However, with no rain for almost 6 months, it has dried up.
Visitors to the park notified park rangers about the trapped creature and they were able to use a ladder to rescue it.
Just a reminder don't pick up a Gila monster, if you see one, because they are venomous.
