UPDATE 9 A.M. DEC. 27: The Downtown Vegas Alliance will continue to accept donations at their GoFundMe account in support of the more than 70 people displaced by the deadly Alpine Motel Apartments fire after The Mob Museum's donation drive ended Friday.

The Mob Museum said they collected everything on their "immediate need" list including clothing, hygiene items, coats and gift cards.

"I think everyone was overwhelmed by the support that we've received," Felicia Lindquist, Mob Museum director of guest services said, "We weren't sure what to expect, but we've been thrilled at the result and more items keep coming in, so we're super grateful to the community."

Lyft will be offering vouchers to help victims pick up and transport their donations, the Downtown Grand Hotel and Casino has pledged donations of pillows and linens, and The Hydrant Club is donating pet supplies to those in temporary housing.

The Downtown Vegas Alliance GoFundMe page, found here, will accept donations through 11:59 p.m. Saturday night and has raised more than $13,000 with a goal of $25,000.

The money collected will be converted to gift cards that victims can use.

ORIGINAL STORY: Friday is the final day to drop off items at the Mob Museum in downtown Las Vegas for survivors of the Alpine Motel Apartments fire.

  • socks
  • underwear
  • pants and tops
  • pajamas

The organization says they need clothes for both men and women.
