Sparks police are investigating the discovery of a body in the high desert north of Wildcreek Golf Course.
Police say a citizen reported the discovery off of El Rancho Drive at about 1 p.m. Wednesday.
Authorities say the body is that of an adult male but they haven't yet identified him.
Police say the investigation is in its early stages but there are no immediate signs of foul play.
