A football player who was dismissed from Baylor University after being accused of assaulting a woman has been arrested in Las Vegas.

Former Baylor Bears tight end Tre'Von Armstead, 22, was arrested Monday morning in Las Vegas after he allegedly pushed a woman.

According to ESPN, it happened around 4:30 a.m. at The Cromwell on the Las Vegas Strip.

Also, Armstead became combative with police officers when they tried to take him into custody. He got into a scuffle with an officer and kicked out a window of a patrol car.

He was reportedly arrested for domestic violence battery, resisting a public officer, and tampering with a police vehicle.

The relationship between Armstead and the woman is not known.

TMZ Sports was the first to report the arrest. They say Armstead was transported to Clark County Detention Center and a hearing was scheduled for Tuesday.
