Steve Evans, 32, a fugitive wanted in Florida by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office was arrested this afternoon in Las Vegas by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force.
A warrant was issued charging Evans with homicide.
The charges stem from an incident in which Evans allegedly killed another man during an altercation at a nightclub in Brandon, Florida.
U.S. Marshals developed information that Evans fled to Las Vegas and he was arrested in the vicinity of Tropicana Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard South.
He was booked into the Clark County Detention Center pending his extradition to Florida.
