A vacant apartment caught fire overnight near Lake Mead and Martin Luther King boulevards.
Las Vegas Fire & Rescue say that the fire was most likely started by squatters.
They were able to put the fire out quickly and no one was injured. Two people in a nearby apartment have been temporarily displaced.
The fire resulted in a brief closure of H Street.
