Two people are dead after a crash on Interstate 15 near Craig Road.

Officials say a driver was speeding southbound on the interstate when the driver made an unsafe lane change and lost control of the car.

The Nissan slammed into the median causing it to roll across four lanes before bursting into flames with the driver and a passenger still inside.

The 22-year-old male driver and a 24-year-old male passenger, who were both from Las Vegas, were pronounced dead at the scene. They were identified as Jacob Varner and Darren Tomas, respectively.

This is the 63rd fatal crash and 71st fatality for the Nevada Highway Patrol-Southern Command in 2015.
