Progress is being made on two different projects in North Las Vegas.
Faraday Future is a step closer to resuming construction in the city. The stage one manufacturing project has entered the competitive bidding process.
The automaker says it is enforcing its commitment to the city after halting construction in November to focus on the development and presentation of its flagship vehicle.
Meanwhile, earlier this month, North Las Vegas and Clark County issued construction permits for electrical work on the Hyperloop One test site.
The county's permit shows $350,000 worth of work for the technology's motor.
The city permit allows nearly $400,000 worth of work to build a medium voltage structure that would control its speed.
