A local teen is fighting for his life after a crash earlier this week in northwest Las Vegas.

16-year-old Anthony Orozco is in the intensive care unit at University Medical Center after the crash Wednesday. His father says Orozco was hit right outside their home near Deer Springs Way and Montecito Parkway.

"I can't move my neck," Anthony Orozco said. "I can't move certain body parts. I have fractured bones and broken bones."

According to the family, the driver admitted it was her fault but only got a ticket for negligent driving.

Jesus Orozco, Anthony's father, says a citation is nothing compared with what his son now has to go through.

Orozco fractured his ribs, vertebrae, pelvis and clavicle. He has a gash on his left side, exposing his artery that is now infected, his family says.

Orozco is a student at Northwest Career and Technical Academy.

He says he's stressing out about missing class.

They have set up a GoFundMe to help cover medical bills.
