Las Vegas post offices are operating on extended hours to get packages delivered in time for Christmas.
Between now and Dec. 25, many neighborhoods will see mail carriers delivering packages on Sunday. Select offices will also be open on Sunday, Dec. 20, including Summerlin, Spring Valley, Silverado, Meadow Mesa and Valle Verde Station.
Anyone hoping to get their gifts delivered by Christmas should get them in the mail by Dec. 15 for standard post, Dec. 19 for first class and Dec. 21 and 23 for priority and priority express, respectively.
