Emergency medical technicians, paramedics and other emergency care professionals from 40 nations are attending the EMS World Expo at the Las Vegas Convention Center this week.
It is the largest conference and trade show of its kind in North America.
Organizers say it is an important event for emergency responders who need to prepare for tragedies like the 1 October mass shooting.
