LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Expect above-average temperatures for Election Day across Southern Nevada.
The isolated showers that were here Monday have already left Las Vegas, and they'll remain in Arizona and Utah the rest of today.
Plenty of sunshine alongside calm conditions are in the forecast.
We'll start in the low 60s as the polls open at 7 a.m., which is about 10° above average. Expect 70s by 9 a.m. and 80s by noon.
Highs this afternoon will reach the low 80s (also about 10° milder than normal for early November in Las Vegas).
Having water, sunscreen, and a hat will be a smart idea in case the line to vote has you outside today.
Sunset hits at 4:41 p.m. and early evening temperatures will fall off to the low 70s by 7 p.m., when the polls close.
