An elderly man was hit and killed by a car late Saturday night.
The crash occurred around 11:30 p.m. near Las Vegas and Lake Mead boulevards. Police said the 70-year-old man was hit by a sedan while trying to cross the street with a walker.
Police said he was not using a crosswalk at the time and was only feet away from it when the crash occurred.
The man was taken to UMC Trauma in critical condition where he later died. The Clark County coroner will release his identity.
The driver stayed on scene and is cooperating with investigators. Alcohol and speed do not appear to be factors in the crash.
