An elderly couple was injured on Nov. 30 when their vehicle crashed on Northshore Road in the Lake Mead National Recreation Area.
According to National Park Service, the crash was reported at 12:15 p.m.
The National Park Service, Henderson Police Department, Clark County Fire Department and Careflight responded to the scene and found an RV camper van that had traveled off the road and dropped 10 to 15 feet off an embankment.
The couple suffered non-life threatening injuries. The 87-year-old female was transported to a hospital by air and the 89-year-old male was transported by ground.
Northshore Road was closed for about an hour. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
