Around 1:30 a.m. on Aug. 31, the U.S. Geological Survey reported a 1.5 magnitude earthquake about 28.5 miles southwest of Pahrump.
The quake was centered about 4.5 miles underground.
At this point, we've received no reports of damage caused by the earthquake.
