A drunk driver is waking up behind bars Friday morning and a pedestrian is recovering from injuries.
Police say that a driver in a white car backed into a wall at the Golden Nugget hotel-casino in downtown Las Vegas.
The driver then took off, but didn't make it very far before hitting a tree.
At least one pedestrian was injured in the incident and was transported to a local hospital. The pedestrian may have been a Golden Nugget employee.
The exact nature of their injuries is not known.
