A female driver has been taken into custody following multiple hit-and-runs around Las Vegas Monday.

Police said they received a call around 12:13 p.m. near the intersection of Bonanza Road and Main Street of a white pickup that struck a light pole, knocking it down. The truck then fled the scene.

Police got another call around 12:32 p.m. of a white pickup having hit another vehicle and then fleeing near the Intersection of Pecos Road and Stewart Avenue.

The final call came around 12:36 p.m. where the white pickup struck at least five vehicles near the intersection of Sahara Avenue and Lamb Boulevard.

In the final incident, one person was transported to Sunrise Trauma with unknown injuries.

The white pickup fled again but witnesses followed the vehicle. Witnesses then detained the woman for police in a parking lot near Fremont Street and St. Louis Avenue.

"They hog-tied her to the ground because she kept trying to kick the police," says one witness, Dominick Duffy.
