LAS VEGAS (KTNV) - Daniel Gillette was always a fan of motocross.
So much so that he, along with his father and three brothers, built motocross jumps in their own backyard.
In May, Gillette began having back pains and one day, woke up without feeling in his legs.
He was diagnosed with a rare condition, Cavernoma with Developmental Venous Anomaly.
This weekend, the North Carolina teen and his family are in Vegas to live out a dream, thanks to the nonprofit Dream on 3, which provides personal, customized sports experiences for kids with life-altering conditions.
As part of his dream weekend, Gillette got to meet his favorite motocross racer Shane McElrath and ride in the exotic car of his choice at Speed Vegas. He'll return to Sam Boyd Stadium Saturday to watch the Monster Energy Cup.
