UPDATE: The victim has been identified as 55-year-old Brett Alan Standal. He died of blunt force injuries.

Jean, NV (KTNV) -- The rider of a dirt bike died in a crash Monday morning on Las Vegas Boulevard near Jean.
Nevada Highway Patrol reported the crash occurred around 7:10 a.m. near Mile Marker 12.
The dirt bike rider was wearing a helmet.
There were no other cars involved and the roadway was not closed.
