A special needs teaching assistant at Helen Herr Elementary School has been convicted of abusing multiple students.
According to records related to the case, the teaching assistant would throw things at the students and she also hit a student and dragged a student.
Chief Investigator Darcy Spears is looking into what happened at the elementary school and talking to parents who feel like the school system failed to protect their children.
