Democratic campaigns are joining forces as the party tries to win big in Nevada in the general election.

Party officials are holding a grand opening celebration Wednesday evening for a new coordinated office in Las Vegas.

It'll serve as a base for staff and volunteers with Hillary Clinton's campaign, as well as supporters of Catherine Cortez Masto and other Democrats lower on the ticket.

The move comes a day after Sen. Bernie Sanders announced he's endorsing Hillary Clinton for president. The party is trying to unify after a sometimes-divisive primary season.

Nevada Democrats say they're trying to collaborate more than in the past by coordinating their campaigns' voter outreach efforts.

It comes after the party suffered big losses in Nevada legislative and state office roles in the 2014 elections.
