Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders is planning trips to Reno and Las Vegas next week.
The Vermont senator is scheduling a campaign stop at the Reno Ballroom at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 27. Doors open at 3:30 p.m.
He'll then head to Las Vegas for a campaign event Dec. 28 at Canyon Springs High School. The event begins at 6:30 p.m., while doors open at 5 p.m.
Sanders' campaign also announced a statewide TV blitz starting Tuesday. The commercials running in Nevada tell Sanders' life story, including his childhood in Brooklyn, his involvement in the civil rights movement and his vote against the Iraq War.
Sanders is the underdog to Hillary Clinton in the Democratic primary.
