UPDATE: New details about deadly hit-and-run on I-15

Posted at 10:50 AM, Oct 23, 2016
One man is dead after a collision on Interstate 15 near Sunset Road.
The Nevada Highway Patrol says a gray Toyota Camry was heading north Saturday night when it was hit by a van making an unsafe lane change. The collision caused the Toyota to rotate clockwise across all travel lanes and crash into a center wall. The driver of the van fled the scene.
46-year-old Bobby Carter Pierce from Henderson died as a result of the crash. Another 40-year-old female passenger was taken to the hospital with incapacitating injuries.
Preliminary information suggests that the van is possibly white, tan, or brown in color and should have left side/left rear damage.
Anyone with information about the crash is urged to contact the Nevada Highway Patrol at 702-486-4100 ext. 5277. To remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
