Crowds expected at Las Vegas court for Education Savings Accounts

The Nevada Supreme Court has arranged for overflow seating because of the expected large crowds interested in the Education Savings Accounts Friday.
 
The Eighth Judicial District Court will provide overflow seating and viewing of the oral arguments in the Jury Assembly Room located on the third floor of the Regional Justice Center. The overflow room accommodates up to 300 people. Seating in the Jury Assembly Room is first-come, first-seated.
 
Pursuit to previously issued notices scheduling oral arguments, the Supreme Court will listen to appellants and respondents in two cases involving the Education Savings Accounts starting at 10 a.m. at the Regional Justice Center. The oral arguments will be video conferenced to the Nevada Supreme Court Courtroom in Carson City.
 
The first oral argument, Schwartz vs. Lopez, will begin at 10 a.m. for a 60-minute presentation in the Las Vegas courtroom on the 17th floor. The second oral argument, Duncan vs. State, Office of the State Treasurer, will begin at 11:30 a.m. for a 60-minute presentation.
