A woman was shot while she was walking home from a store Wednesday night.
Police said around 8:36 p.m., the woman was walking in the area of Pennwood Avenue and Arville Street when she was shot in the leg. There was a reported altercation between a group of males in a nearby alleyway before the shooting.
The woman was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
