HENDERSON (KTNV) — A 32-year-old woman who was struck by a car in Henderson on Jan. 2 has died.
It happened around 5:44 p.m. at the intersection of Foothills and Bridle Drive.
The woman was transported to a hospital in critical condition. She died on Thursday.
23-year-old Ian Acklin left the scene of the collision but was arrested shortly after. He was facing charges of driving under the influence resulting in substantial bodily harm, failure to stop at the scene, and failure to render aid in an accident involving death.
He is being held in the Henderson Detention Center.
The woman’s name will be released by the Clark County coroner.
