Dramatic video of a man trying to steal an elderly woman's purse has been released by the Las Vegas police.
The man can be seen following the woman to the door of the store. She enters the store and he waits outside. He then follows her to her vehicle. Right before she reaches her car, he then tries to grab her purse. Another man can be seen trying to chase him. However, the thief was able to jump into a waiting vehicle and make his escape.
It happened at about 1:30 p.m. Jan. 18 at a store in the 4900 block of West Blue Diamond Road near Decatur Boulevard.
The suspect can only be described as a young black male, approximately 5’10" tall, weighing 150 pounds, with a tapered afro-style haircut. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a dark hooded sweatshirt.
