A man who was fatally shot in Sun Valley has connections in Las Vegas, and now Washoe County Sheriff's Office detectives are asking for the public's help as they investigate the case.

Around 3 p.m. on Sept. 29, Sheriff's Office deputies received reports of a dead person at a residence near Lupin and Honey Bear drives. Officials at the scene found a deceased man who appeared to be the victim of a shooting.

An investigation by the Washoe County Medical Examiner determined that the man, 34-year-old Michael Partridge, died because of his gunshot wounds.

Partridge lived in Las Vegas before he moved to Sun Valley, and detectives say they believe someone may know something that could help the investigation, no matter how small it may seem.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Washoe County Sheriff's Office at 775-328-3320 or Secret Witness at 775-322-4900.
