Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Melissyah Anne Goad, 38, of Las Vegas earlier today for car theft, two counts of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies.
A red passenger car traveling at a slow speed eastbound on I- 40 alerted deputies to Goad. The vehicle registration check on the car showed the vehicle had been reported stolen to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department in August.
Deputies took Goad into custody without incident.
A search of the car revealed a plastic wrapper containing a white crystal substance and a plastic wrapper containing a black substance. The crystal substance field tested positive for methamphetamine and the black substance tested positive for opium.
