LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Las Vegas police are searching for a man accused of inappropriately touching a juvenile before school in west Las Vegas.
Detectives were notified about the incident that occurred on Wednesday just before 8:30 a.m. near a school located in the 4400 block of South Juliano Road, near Peace Way and El Capitan Way.
An 11-year-old victim informed authorities that he or she was touched inappropriately while walking that morning to school.
This juvenile was able to scare the man away but only after the unwarranted touching happened three times, according to police.
The victim first reported the incident to school officials and officers responded to the area, but the suspect was not located, as he was last seen on foot heading northbound on Juliano Road towards Rochelle Avenue.
The suspect was described as a white man in his mid-20s with brown hair and brown facial hair. He was also last seen wearing a blue hoodie.
