Two-alarm fire on east side of Las Vegas valley ruled an arson

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Las Vegas, North Las Vegas and Clark County firefighters responded to the All City Plaza on North Lamb Boulevard early Friday morning, Sept 4 for a reported fire.

The first 9-1-1 call was received at 5:57 a.m. that smoke was coming from the All City Pharmacy located in a strip mall at 821 N. Lamb Blvd. When firefighters arrived heavy smoke was showing from the one-story store located in the middle of the strip mall. Concern was that the fire could spread in either direction involving the rest of the complex. A second alarm was dispatched to send more resources to the fire.

There was heavy smoke in the pharmacy with some fire, it was quickly extinguished. The fire was confined to the one store. There was some fire damage, extensive thick black smoke damage and a store next door also had minor smoke damage. Damage was estimated at $50,000.

Once the fire was out and the smoke removed from the store, arson investigators went inside to look at the scene and determined the fire was intentionally set. Arson Investigators do not have any suspects at this time, the incident is under investigation.

There were no injuries during the incident.
