LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The truck driver involved in a crash that killed five bicyclists in December 2020 was held without bail during a court hearing on Monday.
Authorities say Jordan Barson was the man behind the wheel of a box truck that crashed into a group of bicyclists on the U.S. 95 south of Boulder City on Dec. 10.
The 45-year-old is facing multiple DUI and other charges stemming from the crash. Barson had meth in his system at the time of the incident, according to the arrest report.
Barson's next court date is scheduled for Jan. 21.
