Police were involved in a four-hour long standoff Monday before they took a suspect into custody.

The call came in around 4:30 p.m. in the 8200 block of Ocean Terrace Way, near Rampart and Lake Mead boulevards. Police said SWAT arrived around 6:30 p.m. and began negotiating with the suspect.
Police said the incident was domestic-related.
