The Nye County Sheriff's Department is reporting that several burros were shot recently in their area.
The first call about a dead burro was received May 5. Since then, 12 additional dead burros have been discovered in the Central Area Command of Nye County.
The Bureau of Land Management is investigating the deaths. Anyone with information can contact the BLM at 800-521-6501.
