UPDATE NOV. 16: Police have identified Erwin Walker as the man who led police on a pursuit through Las Vegas on Nov. 15. They've also released his mug shot.
UPDATE: Scanner traffic reveals the suspect was armed during the pursuit. Officers were able to speak with him and say he would not give himself up unless police killed him. In the end, the suspect gave up peacefully and was taken into custody without incident. Police say no one was hurt in the shooting reported in the 6100 block of E. Sahara Avenue.
PREVIOUS STORY: Police were investigating a possible shooting that occurred 6100 block of E. Sahara Avenue late Wednesday afternoon when the suspect fled in a vehicle.
Police followed the vehicle for roughly half an hour before the suspect gave himself up on Valley View Boulevard near Desert Inn Road.
