Woman who robbed person at knifepoint sought

Police are looking for a woman who is accused of kidnapping an elderly person at knifepoint nearly two weeks ago.

Around 1:20 p.m. Nov. 17, police said an elderly victim was kidnapped at knifepoint in the parking lot of a convenience store in the 4800 block of West Charleston Boulevard, near Decatur Boulevard.

The suspect drove the victim in the victim's vehicle to a bank located in the 6900 block of Westcliff Drive and forced the person to withdraw money from the ATM, police said. The suspect then drove the victim to the rear of the bank, exited out of the victim’s vehicle and left on foot.

The suspect is described as a black woman standing about 5’5” and having a small build. She has a notable small mole on the lower chin area. She was last seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt with yellow lettering, sunglasses and a knit cap.
