NLV police looking for man who attacked women

North Las Vegas police are looking for a man who allegedly sexually assaulted two women on Tuesday morning.

The first call was received at 4:30 a.m. from the 1500 block of West Cheyenne Avenue. A 41-year-old woman told police that she had been attacked. Police said that the attacker hit the woman multiple times and tried to sexually assault her. The woman suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

A short time later, a call was received from the Martin Luther King Boulevard and Gowan Road area. A 25-year-old woman received multiple injuries during an attack. She was beaten and sexually assaulted. She was transported to University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect is a 35-year-old black male. He is approximately 5-feet 5-inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white tank top and green camouflage pants.
