Police looking for man who bit off part of other man's thumb during fight

Las Vegas police are looking for a man who severely beat another man and bit part of his thumb off.

The fight was reported at 8:25 p.m. Jan. 15 near East Flaming Road and South Eastern Avenue.

The investigation initiated by the LVMPD Southeast Area Command Patrol Investigations Section indicated there was a verbal confrontation between the suspect and the victim. The incident became violent when the suspect began punching the victim. During the fight, the suspect bit the first digit of the victim’s right thumb off.

The suspect is described as a black male adult, approximately 25 to 30 years old, standing about 5-feet 7-inches and weighing approximately 170 pounds. A photograph of the
suspect is attached to this release.
