Police: Jogger finds body in Las Vegas, officers seek information from public

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Las Vegas police are asking anyone with information to come forward after a jogger found a body lying on the ground early Monday morning near Decatur Boulevard and Pennwood.

Police say the jogger first believed the man on the ground was homeless. As he returned, he noticed the man had been shot.

The jogger then went home and called 9-1-1.

The identity of the man killed will be released by the Clark County Coroner's Office.

The shooting remains under investigation and police are still looking for a suspect.
