SECOND UPDATE: Police announced Monday that 60-year-old Wesley Perry was arrested on murder charges for the death of Dorothy Larry.
Police had received calls that Perry had been in an argument with Larry and injured her.
He was later found and arrested in San Bernardino, California. Police believe it was domestic violence related.
Perry is awaiting extradition to Las Vegas.
This was the 119th homicide investigated by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department in 2015.
UPDATE: The Clark County coroner identified the person killed as 69-year-old Dorothy Larry of Las Vegas. She died of multiple stab wounds to the chest.

A person was found dead Saturday morning in an apartment near Martin Luther King Boulevard and U.S. 95.
Police were called to the Rancho Verde Apartments around 10:30 a.m. for a welfare check and found the deceased person. The death is being investigated as a homicide.
No other details have been released.
