UPDATE: Mug shot for man who may have killed woman he lived with

UPDATE ON MARCH 13: The mug shot for Robert Roginsky has been released.

UPDATE ON MARCH 11: The Clark County Coroner identified the victim as 21-year-old Laura Guden. Reports indicate she was strangled.

Guden's city of residence is unknown.

UPDATE ON MARCH 10: One person has been detained in connection with the incident. Police confirmed that this is a homicide.

Police identified the suspect in this case as 38-year-old Robert Roginsky. He and the female victim lived together in the apartment where the incident took place. Roginsky was inside the residence when police arrived at the scene and was arrested after an investigation.

Roginsky suffered a medical episode during the interview process with police and was taken to the hospital where he is currently being treated. He was booked in absentia at the Clark County Detention Center for one count of murder.

This is the 28th homicide investigated by Las Vegas police in 2017. Anyone with information about this case should call Crime Stoppers at 702-385-555.

Police are investigating a possible homicide in the 900 block of 3rd Street, near Charleston and Las Vegas Boulevards.

Officers were called to the scene around 9 p.m. Thursday. Upon arrival, police located a deceased female inside a residence.

Homicide detectives are still trying to piece together what happened.
