North Las Vegas police say that a robbery took place at the casino cage at Aliante hotel-casino around 3:30 p.m. Thursday.
A preliminary investigation indicated that 39-year-old Michael McDonald entered the casino and passed a note to a cage employee demanding money. He was able to get $7,400 in cash before fleeing from the building.
Police arrived at the scene during the robbery, and they arrested McDonald in the parking lot. All the money was returned.
McDonald did not have a weapon at the time of the robbery, and no one was injured.
