A person was shot in the leg during an attempted robbery Thursday night.
The incident was reported around 9:20 p.m. in the 6500 block of West Charleston Boulevard, near Torrey Pines Drive. Police said the victim was shot by the suspected robber.
Police said the person's injuries were non-life threatening.
