One person was shot in the west side of the valley Sunday morning.
Police responded to the 9700 block of Hanover Grove Avenue, near Sunset Road and Grand Canyon Drive, around 9 a.m. The man shot is in stable condition, police said.

Police said the suspect got away in a red car.
Neighbors were taken off guard when the shooting occurred.
"I was in the middle of sleep and I heard four gunshots," said neighbor Sara Hirz. "I was in shock, I was petrified, confused, didn't know what was happening."
