One person was shot on Sunday afternoon near Cashman Middle School.
The shooting occurred around 3:15 p.m. in the 4600 block of West Desert Inn Road, between Decatur Boulevard and Arville Street.
Witnesses told police that two to three men were arguing and then they heard a gunshot.
One victim was taken to UMC Trauma and immediately taken into surgery. The person's condition is unknown.
Police do not have anyone in custody.
