PAHRUMP (KTNV) — A Nye County Sheriff's Office deputy was recently arrested after it was discovered that he released confidential information about a child abuse investigation.
29-year-old Michalean Soprano released the information to a woman, who appeared to be his girlfriend at the time.
Soprano turned himself in on Sept. 6 to the sheriff’s office and was charged with releasing confidential information maintained by an agency that provides child welfare services.
He is on administrative leave.
