UPDATE ON FEB. 14: The suspect surrendered just after midnight on Tuesday. No shots were fired and no injuries were reported.

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- Las Vegas police responded to a neighborhood in northwest Las Vegas Monday night for reports of a man with a gun.

Police said around 7:40 p.m. a man reportedly pointed a firearm at a neighbor in the area of Auburn and Bradford at Providence, which is near Shaumber Road and Centennial Parkway.

He refused to exit a home in the 6600 block of Grand Concourse Street, according to police.

As of 10:30 p.m., he was still inside the residence. SWAT responded to the scene.

Surrounding roads were closed for hours, including Shaumber Road in both directions.
