A man has been arrested for robbing the same bank twice in Henderson, once in October and once in January.

Police say that 31-year-old Anthony Hylton entered a Citibank on South Eastern Avenue on Oct. 7, 2016, and demanded money from an employee. He then fired one shot into the floor. He fled the scene in a black SUV after receiving an undisclosed amount of money.

On Jan. 17, Hylton allegedly returned to the bank with a gun and demanded money again. The bank employees recognized him from the previous robbery. Once again, he was able to escape with an undisclosed amount of money.

Detectives were able to identify and locate Hylton based on surveillance video and witness descriptions. He was arrested on March 2 without incident.

He is being held in the Henderson Detention Center on charges of robbery with a deadly weapon, burglary while in possession of a firearm and discharging a firearm inside of a structure.
